Congratulations to Wedmore Young Farmers Committee.
We were proud to provide the marquee for the livestock show at The George Inn, Wedmore. As well as a Large Ball marquee on Wedmore playing fields for 330 guests for dancing into the early hours on Saturday night.
"The Masonic Hall is going to have an exhibition of the last 80 years of Wedmore YFC and a cafe.
"This year the young farmers are also bringing the dinner and dance back to Wedmore, as we are having a marquee at the playing fields which has already sold over 300 tickets for the evening."
Guests of the dinner will tuck into a four course meal and dance the night away to Enhanced Entertainment.
Celebrating 80 Years
Ms Isgar said: "Wedmore YFC has been so successful over the past 80 years due to the commitment of the members. Many farming families within Wedmore and surrounding villages have had many generations of their families go through the YFC movement.
"Young farmers movement is important to rural communities such as Wedmore, as it give the young people of a rural area a chance to go and socialise and participate in sports and speaking competitions, without having to drive miles.
"Also YFC is a charity and Wedmore YFC regularly give money fund raised each year away to other local charities."
